Eat in Wolverhampton 2010

WVone working with the City Council launched a new guide in February of 2010 showcasing the best places to wine and dine in Wolverhampton.

Eat in Wolverhampton is the city’s first food and drink guide and is packed full of delicious diners, refined restaurants, cool cafes and perfect pubs.

The guide features in depth profiles of nearly 30 establishments, as well as comprehensive listings for all the other places there are to eat out at. They are listed alphabetically and also include useful information such as awards, ‘scores on the doors’ food hygiene ratings and contact details.  The booklet also contains 12 pages of money-off vouchers to many of the featured establishments.

The guide was launched at The Bluebrick in Sun Street, in February 2010, where the winner of a competition run by the City Council and WVone to find Wolverhampton’s signature dish was announced - Keeli-Mari Gollins from Tettenhall scooped the prize with her 'Beorngyth's Chicken Pie' recipe which is a chicken and bacon filled open-lid pie and has been given the title of an Old English female name that is linked to Lady Wulfruna.  Click here to download the recipe.
