Stakeholder Groups
WV one runs a number of stakeholder groups where interested parties from the private and public sector get together to look at issues, discuss options and work towards solutions.
If you have a passion for Wolverhampton City Centre and want to be involved in its improvement, please contact us about getting involved in one of our groups below. Most groups meet regularly in the city centre and provide an ideal forum for information sharing, networking and developing positive strategies.
City Centre Marketing Partnership
The CCMP brings together many of the city's venues, attractions and retailers with the aim of improving perceptions, footfall and joint working. The group meets four to six times a year depending on current projects and has been instrumental in marketing campaigns including 'Capture the Moment', Christmas marketing campaigns, CityStyle and Art at the Centre.
If you wish to find out more about joining the CCMP please contact us on 01902 551077 or info@wvone.co.uk
Retail & Business
WCCC holds regular one-to-one meetings on a proactive and reactive basis as well as open meetings for retailers and has a market relocation sub-group. Comprising large and small retailers, the Retailers Group has evolved from making suggestions about the council's Christmas marketing campaign to jointly fund an 'Open on Sundays' campaign, the CityStyle fashion and beauty event and a joint Christmas marketing campaign.
The group now meets monthly on the second Tuesday of every month at 3pm at the Mander Centre management offices. Click here for meeting dates.
Wolverhampton Food & Drink Partnership
Operating as a virtual group, businesses including pubs, restaurants and cafes share information and run joint marketing campaigns. The group has successfully launched two editions of the city's first EAT guide and worked together to help Wolverhampton come third in the national Curry Capital of UK Competition in 2010 and 2011.
If you want to join our mailing list to be included in future correspondence please contact us on 01902 551077 or info@wvone.co.uk
Strategic Environment Access & Safety Group
The SEAS Group brings together the Police, local authority, transport operators and property owners and agents. The group meets four times a year and has been instrumental in dealing with issues around the environment, public safety, business crime and regeneration. If you wish to find out more about joining the SEAS group please contact us on 01902 551077 or info@wvone.co.uk
