Wolverhampton attracts at least one million visitors a month to its city centre and has some 240,000 sq metres of retail floorspace, comprising nearly 600 retailers, of which over half are independents.

With a mixture of traditional streets, two indoor shopping centres and a busy market, Wolverhampton offers a good mix of retail and leisure for the visitor, along with excellent access to public sector services and professional businesses.

   

Not all retailers or leisure operators are represented so Wolverhampton offers opportunities for both multiple chains and independent traders.  There are a number of vacant properties in prime sites available now.

Wolverhampton's core retail area is centred on Dudley Street, the Mander and Wulfrun Shopping Centres and surrounding streets.  Car parks are predominately close to the University and Grand Theatre area, with restaurants throughout the city centre, which is contained in the ring road, making all areas easily accessible by foot.

For independent traders there are also more cost effective shops available on the periphery of the core retail area.
